In the mid-1990s, a now-infamous guy on the international stage personally mailed me some original compositions he'd made. What can I do with them now? (Details to follow.)

I just heard this on the local NPR station. Lyrics were about the opening of the seven seals and in the chorus, the singer sings "I'm the Revelator, I'm the Apostle John." And no, the song was not John the Revelator. The singer was pretty gruff, on a level with Tom Waits but I don't think it was him. I did lyrics searches on Google and found only a dozen versions of "John the Revelator".

I'm going nuts looking for this quote that I remember being attributed to John Shelby Spong. It was something about absolute certainty and society and it is driving me bananas. Details inside.

I recently saw a very unflattering photo of
Julia Gillard and it reminded me of a similar photo of John Howard that featured prominently in my local newspaper, "The Queensland Times" for a long while until people began to write to the editor about it. Can you help me find that John Howard photo?

Does anyone know where (or even if) I can get hold of a copy of the 1980's SABC (South African TV) series
'The John Ross Story: An African Adventure', made and set around the same time and locations as their excellent
'Shaka Zulu' series? I know it exists but I can find no mention of its availability in any format, or even at the IMDB... Thanks in advance!

In Reformed Theology, what is the role of Satan? There is talk of foreordination and foreknowledge and absolute sovereignty of God so I don't understand Satan's creation and necessity in this theological framework. Can anybody explain the view or John Calvin's view?

I am rereading John McFees "Coming Into The Country" and I find myself wondering the same thing that I did the last time I read it. That is, "What are all those people in Eagle, Alaska doing now?" I found a nice aerial view on Google maps, and a site for their historical museum, however, what I would like to find is another book. Any suggestions?

I have just watched the Vin Diesel vehicle The Pacifier (don't ask), and in the wrestling scene, one of the students is holding a placard saying John 3:16, which is the verse about God giving his only son as a sacrifice that we might be saved. Does anyone know why? Was the director sending a subliminal message? Is it a common high-school thing being satirised? It just struck me as odd. Thanks.
