I'm scheduled for a technical interview after the weekend for a front-end development position. I'd like to spend some intensive time beforehand reading relevant blogs and books to prime the ol' noodle and supplement my existing knowledge. Could you recommend some resources? Are there questions you would ask an applicant in this situation, or that you have been asked? [more inside]
I'm in community college for I.T. (associate's degree focused on network/sysadmin work, mostly). I have a valuable, but incomplete set of marketable skills at the moment. I have a good handle on how to market myself, but no clue as to who I should be directing my attention to job-search wise . What businesses would be interested in someone who is still in school, but has proven himself capable at an internship and is willing to work for cheap? [more inside]
Lease running out and looking to move, but no job yet. What should I do? [more inside]
I have a Master's in math, and would like to get a job in the tech industry or a laboratory, but my resume is very teaching-oriented. I would like tips on retooling it to make myself more attractive. I also have several months to improve my skills. [more inside]

Does anyone have experience working for the FDM group? A friend of mine is considering entering their training program in the states, which would mean a two year commitment to them as a company. I'm not certain if I should be encouraging my friend or warning them off. [more inside]

Does anyone have a recommendation for a job posting/administration application that uses either ASP or ColdFusion? I'm looking to implement something that will allow users to search jobs and submit their resume and will allow the HR department to post, edit, and delete jobs.
