If you are an awesome designer, how would you be most likely to hear about my job? [more inside]

I'm trying to find some web design recruitment agencies serving West Yorkshire, UK, with no luck. Anyone know of any places up here that I can get the (apparently essential) experience required to get a real job in an HTML factory?
