Every once in awhile, I'll get this rediculously itchy spot on the sole of my foot. It's always on the exact same place, in the middle of my foot in the nook right where the ball of my foot meets the rest of my foot. It only happens on one foot, and only for about 5-10 minutes on any given day. It doesnt happen every day, but I haven't been able to figure out what's different about the days it does itch. There is no visable rash, scab, scar, discharge, flakiness, nothing. There is no visable difference in that part of my foot.
Does anyone else get this? What is it from and how do I make it go away? (And yes, it is itching now.)

My dog seems to be allergic to something. Skin scrapes have shown it isn't mites or anything else. We've changed his food and other things in his environment, and he's still miserable. Pictures

Crazy, weird phenomenon: since I was a little kid (I'm now almost 52) I have occasionally experienced an extremely sudden, acute sort of spasm--more like a very acute, kind of painful itch--simultaneously in the tip of my big toe and on the skin of my lower abdomen. It will last fractions of a second, but usually reoccur up to 5 or 7 times maybe within the next few minutes. Then nothing for maybe a couple of months. The feeling is definitely located on my skin, not deeper, like a muscular thing. It's very pin-pointed and specifically located. It's quite uncomfortable, almost painful, though very, very quick. It's sudden and acute enough to make me gasp and grab my stomach and my toe in reaction.
Obviously this is not a big problem. I'm writing because it's so very strange, and I have never known anyone else to experience this. In fact, if I'm ever bold enough to ask someone, they just laugh in disbelief: "your toe AND your stomach!?!" I know! I mean, how on earth are the big toe and the skin of the abdomen related? So, the question is: anyone else ever experience this weirdness?

I scraped my wrist eight days ago. The gash itself is healing up alright, albeit a bit slower than I'd like, and it looks like it might scar a little. But the surrounding area is red, blotchy, and bumpy like a rash, and it itches terribly. Should I be concerned?

Sometimes when I drink alcohol I get sort of an allergic reaction: skin rash (red spots on my face and shoulders) that feels a bit itchy. The first time that happened was about 2 years ago (never had that before and I'm 29 now) and now it occurs about every tenth (or so) time I drink hard liquor. It hardly ever occurs with beer or wine and it doesn't seem to be related to a certain ingredient (it happens with vodka as well as with Campari). Plus it doesn't seem to be related to the quantity of alcohol ingested. Maybe the cause is a certain kind of food in combination with alcohol? I haven't done enough "tests" to find out more.
What could that be and need I be worried?

How do astronauts and other trained professionals deal with itches while in pressurized suits for long durations of time? Does NASA make astronauts undergo "tickle conditioning" to reduce the stress caused by having an itch one can't scratch, or, likewise, the military with fighter pilots? Do the subjects just get used to the feeling, so that the itch deadens? Are antihistamines or similar drugs administered pre-flight? Has weightlessness been found to affect these and related parts of the nervous system that manage sensations of pain, discomfort, heat, cold, etc.?

Possible Hypochondriac-filter. I have an itch that keeps showing up in the exact same place; around the top of my left shoulder-blade. Normally I wouldn't worry about it at all and think "Oh it's just an itch" but the fact that it keeps coming back pretty much in the same spot on a fairly frequent basis (every few hours or so) makes me question if this is something I should be worried about?
