I just jailbreaked (jailbroke?) my iPod Touch. What are the must-have apps, modifications, etc that I should get for it? I'm running iOS 6. I'm particularly interested in good Notification Center widgets, since that seems to be the biggest thing that can't be done through the regular App Store. Recommendations for good themes would be swell too.

I've seen the
Nano Nails product that is supposed to turn your fingernails into a capacative stylus. I like this idea, but they aren't out yet, and anyway I want to do my nails myself! What can I use that's lightweight to attach to my fingernail so that it conducts enough electricity to operate an iPod Touch?

I'm going to Kyoto for a two-day visit in November, but with only an iPod Touch 4 in my jacket pocket as I'd like to avoid bringing a heavy guidebook/backpack as I walk around exploring all day. What PDFs/docs/apps/downloads can help make my visit amazing, or at least easier?

Looking for top notch, detailed but fun games to play on an iPod Touch. Games like Tower Defense (Lost Earth) or the Angry Birds series, where you can make progress and pick up from where you left off.
Not games like Temple Run/Jetpack Joyride/Robot Unicorn Attack where you start from scratch every time (even if you do get upgrades or badges). I am not really interested in Plants vs Zombies or Tiny Wings for whatever reason.

Good news: I found an iPod Touch (3rd Generation, model A1318, 64GB) on the ground by the highway! Bad News: It looks like it was run over by a truck, or a few trucks. Good News: it turns on when I press the button! Bad News: The touch screen glass is completely cracked off, so it doesn't respond to touch. Good News: it responds and operates otherwise perfectly, it charges, iTunes sees that it's plugged in (but won't let me proceed without a passcode), the screen looks crisp and bright. What are my options from here?

I want to use my iPod Touch as my sole computing device when travelling abroad and was hoping there was a way to dump a bunch of data onto it. pdfs, txt files, .docs, pngs, jpgs, travel details, notes, reading material etc. Generally I wont' have Wi-Fi access so I want offline apps / offline storage tips.

I'd like to find a use for my iPod touch that will, in some way, enrich my life more than just playing endless games of Drop7. Some ideas I've had: reading great literature in ebook form;
memory training;
becoming more virtuous; studying a foreign language. What other things can I do?

Is 200 MB enough? I got an Ipod Touch for my birthday. It does have WiFi access but I don't want to have to run into a cafe every time I need to look something up online. So I'm in the market for a mobile WiFi hotspot and a wireless data plan. The cheapest plans available -- and I'm all about the cheap -- typically offer you c. 200 MB a month.

We're giving our niece an old iPhone 3G to use as an iPod Touch. What do we need to do?
I restored it, which seemed to have deleted everything. Took out the SIM card. Looks like it works fine. The only hitch is that the device still thinks it's a phone with phone app icon. And when connected to iTunes it shows my wife's phone number. I think this is only an aesthetic issue. Doesn't bother me that our niece knows her aunt's phone number. Are there any other issues to consider? Will a SIM card be needed for future updates? Should I attempt jail breaking? It's running the latest iOS, for better or worse.
