Two people. An iPod Touch and an iPhone. One Macbook Pro. How can I sync the Notes (as in...notes written in the Notes application) from the Touch to the Macbook Pro without confusing iTunes into syncing everything else to the wrong device?

Can you recommend a calendar/to-do app for the iPod Touch or the iPad? I want to be able to schedule events in my calendar, but I also want to be able to specify a list of tasks within each event that can be crossed out as they are done. I don't care about reminders or syncing.

I killed my Logitech Ipod speakers, which I carted with me whenever I traveled, by leaving them plugged into a Madrid outlet with my transformer setting on "high." Doh! I love having good portable speakers with me when I travel, and am looking to replace with either

I have two kids. Each has an ipod touch. Planning on adding two more to the household (mom and dad). Problem: I created an itunes store ID for each kid. Looking backward, wouldn't it have been smarter to create ONE Apple ID for the family, so I can see what is being purchased? I had a recent breach in my credit card and had several unauthorized purchases from Itunes...having one account might have led me to see this fraud a little sooner. (apart from checking my credit card statement daily)
What do you multi-iphone-Touch families do? one account?
If the devices all get registered to one account, can one transfer a paid app from one device to another?
Will apps already purchased be lost if I consolidate the devices under a different username?
Any family Apple device strategies appreciated.

I have a regular ipod, 5th gen. It used to work just fine with my xp pc. A while back, my pc completely stopped recognizing the ipod. it does not show up in the device manager. it is a usb connection, that has always worked before and works fine for other devices, ie. thumbnail drives, etc.
the ipod *charges* fine from my computer, plays fine, but I can no longer sync or anything else through itunes or whatever.
i went to the ipod site and did everything they recommended = the five "r"s to no avail. any ideas?

When you open an app, what is the first thing the app shows you - is it: A. a full screen that says NAME OF APPLICATION and then you tap to see your first options, or B. those options are presented on the very first screen that you see?
