Applefilter: I ordered an iPod touch from the official german apple website with an engraved message.
Two problems: They messed up the engraving and they left the package with a neighbour even though it explicitely says on the package that this is not allowed. I'm in Germany.
What can I do now?

What are some of the best writing applications for the ipod touch?

I have a new computer and an old iPod touch. I would like to put all my CDs on a currently blank iTunes program my new computer and then transfer those songs to my iPod touch without interfering with what is already on my iPod. I don't care that the touch songs won't be transferred to the computer, I just don't want to lose all the content on the iPod. Is this possible?

Sure there is a way I can calibrate my 2G iPod Touch accelerometer.
It is off, big time. No matter the angle, it thinks I'm tilting it way far left. The accelerometer still works, as individual apps with calibration functions allow for recalibration, and those apps work beautifully.

Apple Touch feature question: can the new Touch remember which particular song or video I was playing in each of several folders, and the point at which I stopped listening to the song or video, so that later I can get back to it quickly? These are features that Tivo has nailed for TV recording and I'd love to find an mp3 + pocket video player that can do the same thing. If not the Touch, is there another portable player that can do those things?

I have two kids. Each has an ipod touch. Planning on adding two more to the household (mom and dad). Problem: I created an itunes store ID for each kid. Looking backward, wouldn't it have been smarter to create ONE Apple ID for the family, so I can see what is being purchased? I had a recent breach in my credit card and had several unauthorized purchases from Itunes...having one account might have led me to see this fraud a little sooner. (apart from checking my credit card statement daily)
What do you multi-iphone-Touch families do? one account?
If the devices all get registered to one account, can one transfer a paid app from one device to another?
Will apps already purchased be lost if I consolidate the devices under a different username?
Any family Apple device strategies appreciated.

I have a XP desktop and a Vista notebook with an AMD Athlon and Turion (both dual core) respectively, both pretty good machines.
