What's a good, reliable portable speaker I can hook my ipod up to and use at the beach or a campsite? I don't need a massive system. Just something reliable, inexpensive, and producing enough sound to ambiate any occasion.

I killed my Logitech Ipod speakers, which I carted with me whenever I traveled, by leaving them plugged into a Madrid outlet with my transformer setting on "high." Doh! I love having good portable speakers with me when I travel, and am looking to replace with either this Logitech model or these Bose speakers. [more inside]

I want a mp4/3 IPOD like gadget and I'd like to use it for... 60% to play videos (converted from my DVD collection), 35% to play music (MP3 etc) and 5% to listen to FM radio - the radio is negotiable, not vital. I've never owned or used an MP3/4 player and I'm clueless. [more inside]
