can you stream online radio on your phone while walking?

Using your smartphone, can you listen to online live radio while walking around your city? I'm trying to do this (with my iPhone, in Paris) and it only works if I stay in one place; if I move more than about 500m, it usually disconnects. I'm curious to know if others have the same experience so that I can determine if it's my carrier, the phone, the city, or just general limitations of 3G GSM networks. (Note: I'm not talking about Pandora or Spotify; I'm referring specifically to live radio streams which can't buffer minutes ahead). [more inside]

Any common css includes for iphone web app development?

I am a bit late in asking this, but has anyone developed and released a standard set of CSS files and templates (and perhaps JS) for building iPhone web applications that mimic the iPhone UI? I want to write a quick iPhone (Safari-based web) app but obviously don't want to waste time doing the UI work if someone else has already done it. [more inside]

looking for an iPhone "microphone amp" application

Is there an iPhone app (jailbroken or legit) that simply outputs the sound from the microphone directly to the headphones with no delay, as if it were an amp? I tried searching google and the iPhone store with no success.
