Does anyone know what is going on with the text messages shown in this image? Mrs. fireoyster's iPhone keeps getting these texts, starting about a month ago, from a number that none of us knows. They started out once every few days and are now up to two or three per day, usually eight to twelve hours apart. The string "DT" always begins each text and the string "-cowb3ll" always ends each text. Searching on the Internet has yielded no results. She does use iMessage and it functions properly. Her current number was ported from my account on Twilio; could this have something to do with it?

So, I want to restore my iPhone to a backup that's about 1 month old. However, I don't want to lose all of the SMS/MMS and Contacts data that I've accumulated in the meantime. Is it possible to extract and import this newer data into my older backup? I've searched around previous, similar MeFi questions and various 3rd party software, but no dice. How can I make sure that the iPhone wakes me up when I get a text message? Is there a way to change the SMS ringtone to something louder/longer, make it repeat a few more times, or even just make it play the SMS notification sound through a pair of speakers plugged in via the headphone jack?
