I just jailbreaked (jailbroke?) my iPod Touch. What are the must-have apps, modifications, etc that I should get for it? I'm running iOS 6. I'm particularly interested in good Notification Center widgets, since that seems to be the biggest thing that can't be done through the regular App Store. Recommendations for good themes would be swell too.

I am writing some documentation for an app that runs on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. I need a consistant way to refer to these devices and am looking for something better than "iPhone/iPod/iPad". For example:
"Hold your iPhone/iPod/iPad's camera so that the QR code is centered in the brackets."
I've come up with either
"... iPhone/iPod/iPad (referred to as iPhone from here on)"
or
"IOS device"
Anyone have a better idea?

I have a bunch of undeletable podcasts on my iphone 4s that I would like to get rid off but can't.
this is what it looks like:

this happened because the downloads failed (blame the craptastic chinese mobile connections). I cannot redownload these episodes, I cannot play them, I cannot swipe-to-delete them, I cannot see them in itunes. a restore was no help because my last backup already had these "ghost files" on them.
I don't want to wipe the iphone because maps in ios6 is even worse in china.
do you know how I can still get rid of these unusable files?

How do you move songs from an iPod to an iPhone? Google is a bit scant on this and when I try to open the iPod as a drive on my PC it doesn't show the files. My Apple Zealot friend says it's like moving music from a cassette to a LP but I say digital is digital and this is another reason why Steve Jobs is a jerk.

I have 300gb of music, a house, several Mac laptops, a Mac G5, a router, two iphones, an ipad, and several external HDs where the music is stored. I would like to be able to play music anywhere in my house, control it wirelessly without the laptops and update libraries as well as all my devices with whatever I like anywhere in the house, without having to drag out the external USB HD to plug into various laptops like I do now. I'm willing to buy equipment to let this happen. Bonus if it lets me move movies onto a USB stick to plug into my nifty new tv. Details under the fold.

Is there a remote that CONTROLS the music on the iPhone (4s)? Google searches reveal only how to use the phone as a remote for other things. I need to keep the iPhone hooked up to a speaker in the back of the room, and trigger it with *something* to make the music go on and off. Any ideas??? Thanks!

I'm trying to buy some warm gloves that are designed to work with the iphone. In my internet search there seem to be several different brands that work in different ways but few reviews. These are going to be gifts and I need both a man's and a woman's glove and, since both recipients live in cold climates, I want ones where their fingers can stay covered while they operate their iphone. what sort of device can I buy to show my google tasks next to a corkboard, so I see them on my way out the door?
do any photo frames do wireless sync? my first thought was a cheap old itouch, but the screen is tiny, and it does more than I need.
low power use would also be a plus (i.e. not a laptop or cheap desktop with wall mounted monitor, which I also thought of - I do have an extra 17" sitting around)
I could consider switching to another tasks app if required for the best solution, though I do enjoy gtasks in gmail and calendar.

seven different free cases, but she has no idea which one to pick. Any advice? Which case do you use, and are you happy with it? (Obviously the best thing would be to stop by the Apple store and try them all out, but she's not sure she's going to have the chance to do that before the free case period runs out.)

I have two kids. Each has an ipod touch. Planning on adding two more to the household (mom and dad). Problem: I created an itunes store ID for each kid. Looking backward, wouldn't it have been smarter to create ONE Apple ID for the family, so I can see what is being purchased? I had a recent breach in my credit card and had several unauthorized purchases from Itunes...having one account might have led me to see this fraud a little sooner. (apart from checking my credit card statement daily)
What do you multi-iphone-Touch families do? one account?
If the devices all get registered to one account, can one transfer a paid app from one device to another?
Will apps already purchased be lost if I consolidate the devices under a different username?
Any family Apple device strategies appreciated.
