Audio/mobile phone idea/question: I was at my kid's band concert recently, trying to record some of it for Grandma. I only thought of it after we got there so I was using my iPhone. Not a bad recorder, but it's hand held. It picks up me moving in my seat, people fidgeting, etc. Why isn't there an app/service where I could record the concert on my less-than-professional-equipment, and a bunch of OTHER Dads and Moms record the same thing from other vantage points (with other noise!) then put 'em all together subtract the noise and end up with a beautifull, clear, stereo recording. With the iphone's bluetooth/wifi/gps the iphones should be able to figure out where they are relative to each other. Is the doable? Am I nuts? Does it already exist?

iPhone battery life: I'm flying across the Pacific tomorrow with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. Cant easily sync itunes and Iphone. Running latest versions of both software. I can sync everything else but only way to sync music seems to be I had to check all of the songs in my core iTunes music folder as if i was selecting them to be played. When I synched my music from there it worked fine. Bug I think but this seemed to work. Any suggestions? Who writes itunes software anyway: really non-intuitive

I'm in the UK and want to download a free app that is only available through the US iTunes/App Store. I have memberships of both the UK and US iTunes stores, but unfortunately the credit card on my US account has expired. When it comes to the point at which I download the app (on either the computer or the phone) it asks for an updated credit card. Has anyone had this iPhone issue: Upon syncing with the computer, apps will subsequently not open. iPhone 3G: The little silver ring around my iPhone 3G's headphone jack has gone missing, and now headphones don't stay in the jack...they just slide right out. The jack still works--if I press down really hard on the headphone connector, sound comes out of the headphones--but as soon as I let up the headphones come right out.
