Is it polite to invite person A at the last minute to a party (in this case, my darling SO's birthday celebration)? I am feeling somewhat anxious about this occasion already and don't want to offend or exclude anyone. I know this is only a big deal in my own mind, and probably in no-one else's, but it is one of a couple of minor things I am feeling a bit stressed about as the day approaches. [more inside]
I have a milestone birthday coming up and an incredibly lovely friend has taken it upon herself (with my blessing) to invite people to my place for a low key celebration (yay!). Unfortunately, she also accidentally invited a friend of mine whose boyfriend I can't stand. [more inside]

SO and I are not being invited to smaller gatherings that spin off from our social circle. SO is noticing it lately and getting a little insecure while I'm pretty sure I'm to blame. Are there any remedies for this? [more inside]

So, Facebook won't let me invite all my friends at once to an event I created. Instead, I have to manually click on all my friends, one at a time, to invite them. I used to use this very useful code as a workaround. But about 2 weeks ago, Facebook changed it all again, so the code doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have a new workaround? Or, can codemonkeys take a look at the code to see if there's any minor tweaks that can be made to make it work again? Thanks in advance. [more inside]
A friend invited me to a private birthday hangout about a month and a half ago, but hasn't brought it up since. I think she may have forgotten, and I'm fine either way - how do I check and see if I'm still invited without making her feel like she has to have me over? [more inside]

Over a year ago, MeFi users described how it was possible to mass import addresses into MySpace from your address book. Now, scouring the site as described in the original post, I can't find this function. Have they removed it? Is there an automated tool / hack I could use to check if anyone from my address book has a MySpace profile? I'd raher not do it manually. address by address.
