In my office at work, I have no FM radio reception, no cellular phone reception, and only have https
internet access. Are there any internet music streaming sites using SSL? Or any podcasts I could download at home and bring to work? [more inside]

I listen a lot to Radio Paradise for a nice general music radio station but since I stopped driving I've been missing the trashy top 20 radio. Of course I could stream one of those stations on the computer, but listening to that many adds would seem silly. Pandora is fine, but it tends to be too limited in its scope. So does anyone know a good, human curated radio station that mixes in all of the new pop music?

Is one of the streaming services really great for a radio-like experience, with randomized and/or curated playlists? I don't want to have to build playlists myself -- it takes forever, and I can just do that in iTunes if I want (and in fact I have done that for years, but am sick of it). I would like to be able to pick a genre, mood or event, and have it be able to play songs for many hours. The ones I've tried so far have fallen short. [more inside]

Hey all, I'm looking for some listenable eclectic international music radio stations. I'm a rock/indie lover, but get bored listening exclusively to it like on BBC Radio 6 or Radio Paradise. Paris Radio FIP is great, but I'd like to vary things a bit and sometimes am not in the mood for jazz hour. [more inside]

There are lots of Top n
Albums/Songs of 2012 lists all over the internet, but is anyone aggregating them to figure out what the overall internet consensus of top albums/songs of the year is? That is, is there a fivethirtyeight for music?

I want to be able to upload MP3s to a server and then play those audio files in a playlist on a website. I know one can manually link to each audio file. but it would be great if there was some online software that would display the audio files in a good looking playlist. What are the options, both free and cheapwise?

Pandora is unsatisfying right now, as I really only want to listen to one specific artist. Is there any sort of internet music service out there that's free that will allow me to just pick one artist and only listen to that artist's music? [more inside]

Recently, I discovered that I can listen to Internet radio at work (i.e., they're okay with streaming music to my computer). So I wanted to ask the hive mind: what stations do you enjoy listening to, and what do you recommend? [more inside]

Where do you purchase your online music? I've been using Amazon since they sell MP3s without DRM. I'm not a fan of the software the provide though.

Where could I find an instrumental of Bob Dylan's "The Times They are a Changin' " that is pulled from the actual song, rather than a karaoke facsimile? [more inside]

I have a CentOS server with a directory of some MP3s. What is the easiest way to have a radio stream setup so I can listen to them at work or on my phone? I looked at Shoutcast and it seems perfect, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to randomly pick something from a directory of music instead of connecting to Winamp on a host machine.

I am a keen user of Spotify
which I use religiously, I am also the proud owner of a Revo iBlik RadioStation
which allows me to listen to thousands of internet radio stations. I'd like to figure out someway to listen to the music from Spotify on my radio station without any wires. [more inside]

Short and simple. I'm interested in finding out if there are any internet radio stations which broadcast full albums.
Alternatively any free/pay services which allow you to listen online to full albums rather than just individual tracks. I'm not at this point interested in buying music just listening to it.
Please bear in mind I am in the UK and services such as Rhapsody etc. aren't available here AFAIK.

I've got about 400 MB of my (as in I made it, I own it) music that I want to host somewhere. I'm willing to pay and I don't want my users seeing popups or anything like that. My html is hosted somewhere else already so I just need space for the mp3 files. Any help? I've been looking at hosting services for days and I can't find the kind of deal that I'm sure is out there.
