I'm looking for resources regarding certain types of medical devices, ones that produce some sort of measurement or data, eg a Visual Field Analyzer, Ultrasound or an OCT machine.
The type of data I'm looking for is stuff like sales numbers, how many are still currently in use, or where they're in use (which field, small clinics versus large hospitals, US or international). My focus is on legacy devices and Ophthalmology, but any data is useful.

Recently, I was asked for my husband's SSN (no idea) and my license plate number (usually I know this, but it's newly registered so again, no idea). I got funny looks when I didn't know these things, which made me wonder-- what other similar information should I memorize or otherwise have readily at hand?

I need to create a web form to gather information. In an ideal world, the service would create a hosted URL, people would fill out the form, when submitted, the form would automatically be emailed to 3 selected addresses, and there would be an option for the submitter to either save to pdf or print. Oh, and it should be free. Does this exist?

I read this
somewhere filter. A few years back, I read a very detailed description of a well known journalist (working at Reuters, or AP or something - it might have been Anthony De Rosa) who explained in great detail how he managed his Twitter and other (social) information streams to find original sources and be on top of breaking news. I would like to find
that specific article again.

How do I find reputable, factual, unbiased sources of information? Anything from breaking news (global or local) to current issues to scientific studies. I'm looking for the kinds of sources that will give a good overview or analysis of a topic, and then show me their sources so that I can investigate further if I wish. Websites and printed sources are the most helpful for me as a student, but I welcome any suggestions.

Is there a usable generic language or set of instructions for giving directions? Regardless of country language or dialect. Directions that are simple, direct and unambiguous. Ie the way to the bank is up the road for five minutes and then go down to my right. Is that up a hill? Down a hill after turning right? How far up the road do i go? Until i start coming down again? Thank you.

If an alien located on a planet 100 light years from here was to switch on a big, multi-frequency radio receiver, and record all the noises coming from outer space for the
next hundred years, on all frequencies, how many soap operas, advertisements and new broadcasts would they pick up from Earth? Would a mass-market radio, similar to our Earthly equivalents, pick up anything? Over time, as the number of Earth transmissions increases exponentially, would the alien pick up a cacophony or a damp fizzle?
