I've been looking for info on showering/bathing in relation to sweating and whether it's sanitary or not. I can only seem to find articles that basically say "yeah, you need to shower cause you'll smell" but can't find anything that confirms whether or not it's actually sanitary or not e.g. infections. What do ya'll think/know?

I need help finding an ENT physician in the NYC area. I continue getting ear infections and it's about time I see a specialist instead of my primary care physician. I don't have insurance and currently working a part-time, so if you can recommend me one that won't charge me over $200 for a first time visit I would greatly appreciate it.

In two days I will be taking a series of flights to travel from Australia to Europe for a very much needed month long break. I had a tooth extracted last week and despite being on antibiotics for four days, it's infected, and the infection has spread, making it painful to swallow. The solution: a different antibiotic has been prescribed. I don't like antibiotics, so my question is: what would happen if I just didn't take the damn things, took the painkillers, braved it out and waited for my body to handle it alone? Would that just be stupid? I appreciate that it's probably hard to advise without specific details, but any comments welcome.

My right ear aches, and pain moves from one tooth to another on the right side of my mouth. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon, but in the meantime I thought I'd ask what might be causing this. The pain in my ear is reminiscent of an ear infection I had years ago. At the same time, a single tooth will ache, but an hour later, the pain moves to a different tooth! Is it a dental problem causing an ear ache or an ear ache causing a dental problem?
