Earlier today I watched a short clip of 2 teams playing a game of... what, exactly? It was an indoor game, and there were field hockey / small soccer goals on each end of the court. Like soccer there were around 10 people for each team, but unlike soccer players seemed to use only their hands to pass the ball -- they couldn't kick it or dribble it, but they could bounce
it to each other or into the goal. The ball itself was smaller than a basketball, maybe about the size of a small volleyball. Anyone know what this game might be? This game was between teams from mainland China and Taiwan and the clip was from a Hong Kong news show, so that all leads me to suppose this might be a game played only in Asia. Bonus points if you know the name of it in Chinese!

I have a large bathroom/shower room. It is a Japanese bathroom where the whole room gets wet and has a drain in the middle. I am looking for edible plants that like that type of wet/humid/warm environment. The room has a large northerly facing window but does not get any direct light. Maybe some kind of tropical fruit?

We are on vacation on Kauai. It's been a great week, and Friday is our last day. We have to check out of our room by 11am, and our flight doesn't leave until 9:40pm. This would be great, except rain and thunderstorms are predicted all day! Any suggestions for ways to spend our last afternoon if the weather really is bad?

I go to a tanning salon in the winter a couple of times a week mostly to keep my Seasonal Affective Disorder controlled. I've noticed the parts of me that I can't reach to apply lotion (my back) tan just as much and at the same rate as the rest of me where I do apply lotion. I can't help but wonder if I'm wasting my money on the indoor tanning lotion because it sure isn't cheap!

I need to take better pictures in my home machine shop. I have a decent camera (Nikon L100) but my workshop lighting is poor (mostly florescent lights) and my camera's flash is too directional and too harsh. I think I need to invest in a small umbrella light but I'm not sure and I could use some advice, including what to buy.
I take a lot of close-ups, I don't have a lot of room to work in
and I'd like to work with a continuous light rather than flash. The photos are for my blog.

What are my options to rent an indoor gym for basketball in Richmond Hill, Ontario? 10 university students who work and live in the area. The community center offers a relatively high rate by the hour so were wondering where else we could consider renting a basketball gym in and around Richmond Hill.

Re-starting my indoor garden: What should I do? I've had a sucessful window-herb-plant garden going for years but then everything just died at once. I want to start fresh, from seed ideally, and as soon as possible. What plants (herb or house) grow in winter (Heated but not that heated apartment) with semi-eastern exposure that don't die if I look at them funny?

Suggestions for an indoor plant? Preferably a plant that can withstand temperatures between 5-15C, requires almost no care except for watering and the occasional fertilizer, and can be picked up at the nearest M&S or John Lewis (or any other major UK departmental store).

Fake and edible indoor plants? For my Kittys...
Does anyone even make such a thing? If not, what could I make it out of??
Or if anyone knows of any tough non-toxic indoor plants that will cope with feasting, possibly air con and shitty light but definitely the feasting! What would you recommend?
(A roster/tag team basis would be perfectly understandable and acceptable...)
