I bought a print of a painting I love in the only format available: A full bleed art show poster on glossy 11"x17" bond. The painting reproduction is approximately the top half of the poster, say 10"x8". I can clearly see the grain of the canvas in the print, and it is entirely possible that the original painting is not much larger than the reprint. So my question is, is it feasible to have this print blown up to twice or thrice it's size without sacrificing quality?

Is there easy instructions or a guide that I can use to create a simple image to be used to print a t-shirt? It will be solid color text on a plain background.

this should be pretty simple - Ive got a HUGE image (72" x 96") and want to print it. Thats going to be REAL expensive to print as one piece so i was hoping to find some software that would chop it into many 8x10" pieces that I can then print in a standard printer. Suggestions?

Does anyone remember/can anyone find the Metafilter thread that linked to a website that could take an image, split it into a grid, and allow the user to print that image wall-size? In 8X11 increments? It's driving me insane and I'm in desperate need of an immense Bela Lugosi for my Halloween party.
