I have an Apple TV (1st generation) connected to my 720p TV. I have an Intel iMac. What I don't have is a WiFi subscription. Help me understand what's possible with this and if I can connect the two. [more inside]

Is there any way that I can easily use my iMac Desktop (Current Intel Model) monitor as a second or primary monitor for my Powerbook using either the wireless network or a monitor adapter? [more inside]

I have an Intel Imac that I bought roughly a year ago. I connect to the internet using comcast and an Airport Express. Recently, I added WEP security to my airport, for obvious reasons. I also changed the airport channel to 7 (and then 4) from 11 because I was getting lag while playing Xbox Live using a wireless adapter (I live in an apartment with many wireless networks around me).
Every since, my computer just decides to leave the network about every 5 minutes. It's SO ANNOYING. I only have to click on the network again to rejoin, but does anyone have any ideas? I made both changes at the same time.

Wire[d|less]NetworkingFilter: I have a snow Airport base station that I can happily configure via ethernet cable from a non-wireless-enabled Graphite iMac running 10.3.6 and configure and connect with (using the 56k modem) using a wireless-enabled computer. I want to connect using the ethernetted iMac. Is this possible? [mi] [more inside]
