My favourite drawing application that I've used is Ashlar's Graphite, but it is extremely overpriced. I'm looking for a tool that is both intuitive and accurate, snaps are very important. A while back, a friend of mine introduced me to Kurt Halsey Frederiksen and I immediately fell in love with his work. Since then, I've been on the hunt for artists who have an equally "simple," yet beautiful and eloquent style. Can any of you recommend artists in a similar vein? (Preferably with online galleries or printed books of their art that I could purchase.) [more inside]
