Can I wait for two months to go to the doctor for this?

I found a lump in my armpit and will be getting it checked out by a doctor. Unfortunately, I work in a contact-based job and my next contract is schedule to begin in August. My benefits, including health insurance, will be in place again at that time, but I'm uninsured during summer months. Is this the sort of thing that can wait until I have insurance again or do I need to go to the doctor right now? [more inside]

Anyone else experience similar chronic illness symptoms?

Note: I am the patient. Describing the symptoms is pretty difficult task but I will try to do my best. The patient has not felt normal since sometime in October of 2013. The best way to describe it is a feeling as if patient is about to get sick. That feeling as if a sickness is coming on but never really comes on. This feeling is often strongest at night and continues throughout the day and will be gone by night. This toxic/sick feeling that radiates throughout the body seems to come and go at times. Attack of the cold feet

I feel a bit stupid asking this, but this has been bugging me for a while: is there some illness that can affect women if they get cold feet? This sounds like an old wives tale, however my wife and mother-in-law get very animated about this, particularly with regard to our 8 year old daughter. Unfortunately I have never managed to get much more detail other than a vague mention of kidneys. My google-fu fails me with regard to even the mention of this as a myth, however I am willing to accept that there is some sort of feminine genitourinary complaint that men are not widely aware of. I would just be happier if I knew exactly what it was. [more inside]

I've just been diagnosed as severely hyperthyroid, also known as Grave's Disease. I'm under the care of about 6 physicians, but want to know some more subjective information. Is there a really great book? A great tip for sleeping with my head raised on pillows? Other experimental or experiences you can pass my way would be great. [more inside]
