Am I missing something with my IKEA duvet cover? Is the slit at the bottom supposed to just hang open messily? It looks nicer in the catalog photos.

Did Ikea change the shade of their beech veneer at some point? I bought a new bookcase and to my dismay it doesn't match the one I bought a few years ago.
