Can I get Google to ignore certain terms on my web site?

Can I get Google to ignore certain terms on my web site? I maintain a very small web site for a non-profit organisation (ABC). On the site is the name of another organisation (XYZ) they're associated with. When you Google the name of the second organisation, ABC's site is listed first, while XYZ's is further down the results.

While I have suggested XYZ needs to make their site friendlier to search engines, for now the main concern is that ABC is getting many phone calls from people who are lazy - when they Google XYZ but see ABC as the first answer and assume that's what they are looking for without really looking at it.

Can I add something to my site to make Google ignore the name of XYZ organisation? I realise it could take some time for the results to change.

(I'm almost certain that this is easy, but whatever terms I'm searching for this afternoon aren't showing me what I need to know...)

I know you now, I won't know you later.

I make amazing first impressions! Then everything goes downhill. When I meet someone for the first time, I'm really outgoing, confident, and I approach them and introduce myself, etc. Later hearing from mutual friends or co-workers that I really charmed the person I met.

Seeing them later on, well that's where the trouble starts. I say hi, but for some weird reason, tend to not want to approach them. If I'm close to them, I'll say hi but if I'm walking toward an area where I see a person that I've recently met, I'll tend to 'take a shortcut'.

I also have this problem with people I've taken classes with. I may have sat next to them for an entire semester and got to know them on a superficial level (never hanging out outside of class) but once the semester's done and class is finished and I see them walking on the street, I have a tendency to avoid them.

I WANT THIS TO STOP. I like people and want to keep these connections. What's wrong with me and how can I fix it?

Did it all go wrong?

Jobfilter: What does it mean when the people who interviewed you start ignoring you? I have worked for this company for 5 years. Recently a job in a different department came open and I applied.

It's a grocery chain, the job that opened up was for a traveling IT tech. I have first hand knowledge of the systems used and most of the time the regular IT guy just calls me to walk me through the stuff at my store. He and I are fairly good buddies and he has told everyone he wants me to get the job. His boss, who is based in another state, interviewed me and it went well, or so he said. He told me that he would let me know in about a week. He also told me I could call him anytime if I had any questions, saying that was as an exception he made because I am already an employee of the company.

A week went by, I did not hear from him. I called him, he answered, said he was busy at the moment, took my home phone number and promised to call me the next day and if he did not to call him again. He didn't call. I called again, once again he said he was busy, he told me that for sure the next day he would call me at the store where I work.

Nothing. So, using company email, I said that "since I've been catching you at busy times that I would drop you an email. I am just curious so see where I stand and if you have made a decision yet."

Nothing, and now, the guy who I work with all the time has ignored me on a few equipment orders and general work-related questions.

So now I fear that my interview went horribly wrong somehow and am freaking out about it. Would it be wise to try and call him again or should I just let it go? It's now been 3 weeks+ since I was interviewed.

phpBB 2 killfile script

Can you help me find and install a script that will hide posts from certain users on a phpBB 2 forum? I'm running Win XP and FF 2.0.0.6. I just installed Greasemonkey, but I have no previous experience with it. Googling keeps bringing me here, but the "you can get it here" link there doesn't do anything when I click it. I've found a couple of others that seem to install correctly but then don't produce any noticeable effects. What am I missing?

Women who stray because their men don't pay them enough attention... The last time I needed help compiling a list of songs about an obscure topic, ask.me was awesome. Pease help me again!

I need a list of songs sung about women who stray or contemplate cheating because they are being ignored/not taken care of by the men in their lives. Here's what I've got so far...

"Sick of being lonely" -- Field Mob
"Creep" -- TLC

Thanks so much!!!

TiVO KillFilters

TiVoFilter Is there any way to create killfilters in TiVo? Essentially the equivalent of a Season Pass, but to mark a series as "ignore every instance of this series"? [mi] Thumbs-down and WishList sub-categorizing/prioritizing isn't getting the job done. Manually deleting crap to reduce conflicts with good stuff is defeating the purpose of automation. There's gotta be a better way, right? Educate me, oh wise TiVo-ones. (This is a standard Series2, by the way.)
