Please help me find an alternative to IE Scrapbook Scraps, which allow field text to be saved for future searches [more inside]

IE for Mac. Scrapbook equivalents in FireFox, etc?
I use the IE Scrapbook feature of IE for Mac to quickly search for info in a certain public data base (the search term is entered in the search field of a web page, the page is saved as a "scrap,", and then I need only call up the "scrap" and hit the return key to update the search)

Is it possible to create the same kind of "scrap" in other browsers? There doesn't even seem to be an equivalent in IE for Windows?
