When using IE 6 or 7 and printing a page from the same website using two different computers, but the same printer, one prints at half a page length and one prints the desired full page. The print preview for each matches the way each prints. I can't figure this out for the life of me. Anyone?

I like Google Desktop but there is one minor annoyance that has been bugging me. Whenever I click on a link in a sidebar gadget, that link loads in IE7, even though my default browser is Firefox. Is there a solution to this? I'm on Windows Vista, if that helps (or hurts).

Hi I have IE ver 6 SP 1 and Win 2000 SP4 Operating system. In IE, I always get a javascript error icon in the the status bar while browsing websites. When I click the icon, it shows "Object doesn't support this property or method" or 'undefined is undefined', etc But the same websites open properly when I visit them from some other machine from internet browsing center. What settings do I need to check in my browser ? Javascript is enabled in my browser. Are there any IE updates or hotfixes for this problem ?

Using Firefox on some web sites, if you scroll down from the top of the page, select a link, and then hit the back arrow to return the original page, the original page does not return to where you were when you clicked the link, but annoyingly to the top of the page, requiring a manual scroll to get where you were before. This doesn't happen with IE on the same web sites. What causes this problem? For example http://sadlyno.com/ or http://seattletimes.nwsource.com

I run a website and am having a little difficulty getting the CSS to work properly in Internet Explorer. I am trying to implement the search field into a little 'pop-up' in the navigation. It works properly in FireFox and Safari, but in IE for Windows the pop-up shifts diagonally instead of directly below. Any ideas on how to fix this?

What I suspect is a fairly stupid javascript question, but one I haven't found an ideal solution for. I four menus made out of unordered lists. I'm using a modified version of the suckerfish dropdown script to make it work in IE (code inside), in one place I want 1 of the four menus to stay open except when I hover on one of the remaining menus. i.e. menu1 is visible. when I mouseover menu2, menu1 is hidden. When I mouseout of menu2 menu1 reappears. [more inside]

My web browsers (FF 2.0 and IE 7 on XP SP2) have stopped working (kinda). I have to click on links over and over again to get the browsers to respond.
