I recall seeing a book about art, dada, and language, but can recall little about it. On one page, the author used several different fonts on several words to express a rhetorical point. It was a paperback, and I am relatively but not completely certain the edition belonged to a classics republishing company like Penguin or Vintage Books.
Can you identify the name and artist of the painting seen in this scene inA Most Wanted Man? I'm thinking I'd enjoy their other works also. Thanks! [more inside]
There's an artwork on public display in my community that isn't labeled with the artist's name or the title of the piece, and I'd like to know more about it. The facility that has it on display doesn't have the information, so I'm hoping you could take a look at it (or just read my description) and tell me if you know more about it, or where I could find out who created it and what it is called. It's a rather unique piece, being a full-length overcoat that's been hardened/cast and mounted on a large canvas. The yellow floral pattern of the coat is seamlessly transferred to the background of the canvas. For a link to a phone-cam pic I took of it, click [more inside]
One of a number of painting/pictures I acquired recently is of a statue in which a man is holding a tetrahedron (pic 1 | pic 2). I am fascinated by the image, but have no idea about actual information about the statue. Artist, title, location, intended subject matter, etc., etc. Any help in identification and/or additional info would be great! [more inside]

I'm looking for a sci-fi artist's webpage. The only thing I remember is a (digital?) series of painting of a sprawling city inside a cylindrical crater (or possibly at the base of a tall spire). [more inside]
A while back, I encountered the work of a painter whose work included striking vistas of Hell. Now I can't remember who it was. [more inside]

Art-sleuthery, part 943: Lithograph, possibly by Nam June Paik, with some Asian (Korean, if Paik) writing on it. Any ideas? [more inside]
For a season or two on Seinfeld Elaine was working at J. Peterman's place and had an office with a large photo (maybe a painting) of a bridge or a dock or some such thing. It was directly behind her desk and was in at least one episode, probably more than a couple. Can anyone identify said poster/print and maybe point to a place to buy?
