I'm trying to identify a sample from the first few minutes of this album. The sample occurs at 0:27, 0:47, 1:02, and so forth. It's the muted organ/electric piano chords; one chord played 4 times, followed by another played once. I know it sounds kinda generic, but I swear that this is a sample from a jazz or R&B song that I recorded off the radio in the mid-late 80s; in the original that second chord follows the same pattern as the first. This is driving me bonkers. Help!
I feel as though I've heard this song in many places, but its lack of lyrics have made it difficult to search for. I've most recently encountered it in an episode of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends. I suspect that it might be by Esquivel like the show's opening theme, but I haven't been able to find it based on that alone. This has been driving me crazy!
I saw a music video this weekend featuring a girl with longish blondish hair riding on a toy riding horse underwater, possibly in a pool. I was really chill, instrumental possibly. It was in a youtube playlist with similar types of music: sleep party people, gold panda, clams casino, youth, grimes, tycho etc. Please, oh please, help me find it!!!
Help me ID this indie-ish song that I heard on the radio this morning. I remember nearly nothing, though. [more inside]
Hi Metafilter! Can you ID the song used as background music in this video for me? I was unsuccessful at Googling it based on the (Spanish?) lyrics. The only phrases I can clearly make out are "esta no voy a perder" and the oft-repeated "Oye!"
What's the song 21 minutes into this podcast?

Ok, some of you are just plain talented with this stuff. My friend swears that this little ditty is from an ACTUAL song, but she has been trying to remember which song exactly for more than a month now... I'd like to ID the song before she does, and taunt her with the knowledge (like any good friend would do) just to watch her squirm! [more inside]
Can you identify this (seemingly) misidentified piece of electronic music? It's supposedly by Marumari and is called "Kid Icarus Fight", but I am pretty sure that's incorrect... [more inside]

What is the song used in this YouTube video? I know it's kind of a stretch, but I can't get it out of my head! Recommendations of similar music are good too.
I heard this snippet of a song between scenes of a recent tv show. I really like the song, but I can't figure out the artist. [more inside]

Can you help me identify this song? [more inside]
This American Life has at least a dozen instrumentals that they use over and over as background music. The Happy Flute Song, the Things Are Kind of Tense Song, and so on. I've really grown to like many of them, but I cannot identify any of them. Can TAL fans identify any of the standard music beds?
Another "name that obscure song without audio assistance" question: I would love to have a song identified that I heard twice in the gym last year. [more inside]
Over the past few months, I have occasionally seen a commercial for a vacation cruise. I can't recall the name of the cruise, but Norwegian fiords are featured prominently. What really has my interest is the song featured in the ad. It's a classic example of trying to remember a song, but not being able to, and it's driving me crazy. The tune has an ethereal quality to it, and the singer is female. If anyone has even the vaguest idea of what I'm talking about, please end my suffering, and tell me who sings the damn song!
