I would like to take a calendar in iCal and turn it into a list of events with times / locations. Basically turn a schedule that I've built in iCal into format suitable for text distribution to a bunch of different people. Seems simple! But I can't figure it out. Copying and pasting events from iCal into a text document randomizes the order, which is a huge hassle. Help me, hive mind!

When Mr. Corpse and I were both using iCal I could send him an invitation to an event; if he accepted it it blocked off the time in his calendar. Now that he's switched to Google Calendar this system doesn't work.

I have a PHP webpage that lists events happening at a conference by reading from a MySQL database. Is there an easy way to have PHP create downloadable iCal files so people can download individual events to their iphones/Androids etc., without my having to create individual event files, and without setting up a bunch of Google Calendar items to link to? (more detailed explanation inside.)

I have a Google Calendar with one of Hal Higdon's half marathon training schedules, and I'm a day off. I've been a day off for weeks. I'd like to adjust the calendar rather than my life. How can I adjust the events by one day all at once? I am happy to import or export, etc as necessary. It's such a small thing but it's driving me crazy.

I have a work calendar in Exchange. I also have an Android phone and a Mac. For the last couple of years I've been using Spanning Sync to copy entries from my Exchange calendar to a Google calendar and then on my phone I can see all my calendars using the built in calendar program ( I also use Touchdown so I can see my exchange calendar on my phone if I have to, but it doesn't integrate with the phone calendars so I have to use two different applications to see my entire calendar, which is a pain).
The problem is that Spanning Sync is
going away. Is there any other application or service out there that'll automatically copy entries from one iCal calendar to another?

How can I sync an online calendar feed (xml) with either iCal or Google Calendar? I know I can sync iCal and gCalendar easily through several methods. But what I also need to include is my department's events calendar. I can import it as an iCal or Outlook file, but this is only a one-time option. Once the department's calendar is updated I don't receive the new or changed events. And I suspect if I import the (newer) file again, I will get many duplicates. The calendar has an xml feed I could subscribe to, but can't figure out how to translate this into a calendar that automatically syncs or updates. Willing to consider any options that would lead to the online calendar (.ics, .csv, or .xml file) being auto updated to any calendar application. This would make my life so much easier! Thanks!

Is there a way to sync Google Calendar to my iCal, but make all events appear like iCal private events in Google Calendar? I want to share my Google Calendar so that others will see when I am on a business trip or in a meeting, but they shouldn't see where I am or what the topic of the meeting is.

Is there any way to set up a recurring iCal event that is dependent on a prior event? We have board meetings on the 4th Monday of every month, and staff meetings the following Tuesday morning. This normally wouldn't be difficult to set up in iCal-set up a similar event to fall on the 4th Tuesday- except for the odd months where there are 4 Mondays and 5 Tuesdays and the 4th Tuesday happens BEFORE the 4th Monday! Argh!

Where does Quicksilver find calendars when adding items to iCal? When I go to the third pane to specify the task's calendar, QS presents me with a list of choices that I assume I created at some point in the past but which in no way correspond to my current list of iCal calendars. I want to delete these ghost calendars and make sure that QS accesses my current list. Any help would be much appreciated.

I use Nokia's Exchange Mail push technology on my E61i. Pretty happy with how it works. I am considering getting a new MacBook. Given the luck of any more reliable means of syncing my iCal with work's Exchange, (no, Entourage is not an option) I was wandering if any one has experienced with the Nokia phone working as a bridge between iCal and Exchange. I hope to sync my iCal with the phone and the phone should automatically should replicate the events to exchange. Sounds like it should work?

Can I force iCal to display more than 7 days at once in its Week view? (Say, 9 or 10 days at once?) I'm not finding a definitive answer on the web, just other people wishing for the same thing (or suggestions of non-iCal programs, which I can't use). I'm running Tiger but would also be happy to hear if there are any differences here in Leopard.
