My marriage of ~10yrs is on the ropes. My wife is suing for divorce, and (among other less important things) wants full custody of our beautiful youngsters (ages >4 and <10). There's more inside, but here are my specific questions: 1) I have reason to believe she is having an affair. Does her alleged adultery, if proven, give me any leverage with regards to custody? 2) What other ethical ways are there to ensure I at least get joint physical and legal custodianship? [more inside]

Is there any sound legal reason why people use IANAL after posting an opinion about a legal matter? Supposing there is, is IANAL enough? If someone was led to believe YANAL but YKWYWTA (you know what you were talking about), could you still be sued for negligent misstatement if someone followed your opinion to their detriment? Shouldn't the disclaimer be stronger? [more inside]

If a bunch of kids decided to have a snowball fight on my lawn, near my drive way and if one of them gets hurt. Can they blame me? It's my lawn, but surely it's not my snow. I shovel my drive way but I do not encourage kids to come and have fights.
