I am going the Nike+ route and am about to order an iPod Nano. I want an inspiring but not cheesy quotation engraved on the back. Ideas?

productreviewfilter: I am considering buying the Sony Bluetooth Wirleless Transmitter for iPod along with the Sony DRBT21G/B Stereo Bluetooth Headset for a birthday gift for a friend who runs on a treadmill most of the time, outside sometimes. Have you used these? is there a better combo that might be preferred by a runner? Thank you in advance!

Nike + iPod Sport Kit, transmitter hacked into the tongue of my New Balance shoes: I run the same 4 mile route every time, but occasionally my pace is WAY off. Yesterday it read 3.19 miles at the end of my run, and I took a look at the transmitter to see that it was sideways inside the tongue. Is that why?

I am about to start running in a more serious capacity, which is to say to train for races. I love gadgets, so I am drawn to both of these for various reasons. Which is better, Nike + iPod or the Garmin Forerunner 201?

Anyone know how the foot pod works and how reliable it's going to be? I have not come across any technical details about that at all, only the ipod interface.

I'm really interested in the soon coming
iPod+Nike technology: Basically a really high tech way of tracking your running, syncing it with your computer, tracking your progress, interacting with others, etc. However, I'd really kind of like to avoid Nike for it's high prices and other reasons, so does anyone know any other similar high tech products that could help me track my run? Extra points for Mac compatibility.

I swear I saw an ad/article in a fitness magazine for a running tank top with a pocket on the back, right between or below the shoulder blades. The pocket was the perfect size for an iPod - but my (basic) Googlefu can't find anything. Does anyone know if these tank tops are for sale anywhere, and if they're worth it?
