I tried out Apple's Aperture for a month to see if I liked it and if it saved any time, but now that iPhoto 6 is out, I'd like to go back to iPhoto which runs loads faster on my iMac. This means I have about a month's worth of photos in Aperture I'd like to salvage in iPhoto. What I can't figure out is how to export photos from Aperture into iPhoto, instead of vice versa. Any tips?

All my iPhoto albums were updated when I inserted a cd with new albums. Only a newer version of iPhoto will open my existing picture libraries. How do I get my old albums back? [more inside]

Where can I find an iPhoto plugin developer? I'd like to modify an existing open-source plugin, but I'm not a Mac developer, and calls for help have gone unanswered. [more inside]

How can I prevent iPhoto from auto-launching when I plug in a card reader?
When I plug in a card reader, iPhoto assumes that it is being summoned and auto-magically launches itself. I don't want this to happen. I don't want iPhoto to ever launch without my permission, which I might grant once a year or so. Yet, every day I have to cope with it launching multiple times as I attempt to transfer photos to my hard drive. It is a minor annoyance, true, but it is an annoyance.
My question, then, is how can I make iPhoto stop doing this? I've searched its settings high-and-low, but to no avail. I've searched the System Preferences high-and-low, but to no avail. There must be something I'm missing.

iPhoto/Nero incompatibility? My daughter has an open CD of jpeg photos she took and burned with Nero 6.0. A friend added some more jpegs using iPhoto. Now the only thing that she has access to with My Computer are the iPhoto files. Dad is supposed to have answers, but I'm stumped.

: I was importing photos and when it was complete, it wouldn't let me go to the library, so I had to restart my iBook, and now iPhoto won't load. I looked in the Apple help forums, but they're no help at all. This ever happen to you?

iPhoto 5: I love the new iPhoto and I'm really impressed with the new photobook formats. I want to order one, but after using the auto-format, half the images did a nice full page bleed while others are tiny and centered on the page. I can't seem to figure out how to stretch the smaller photos into a full page bleed. The photos are all the same large size and bit depth. Anyone figure this out yet?
