I just finished playing the awesome and addictive Swordigo on my iphone, and now I'm looking for my next obsession. What are your recommendations for iphone platformers with logic puzzles, hidden secrets and a bit of a Zelda/Mario feel? I just downloaded Wind-Up Knight, but not as big a fan of the endless runner stuff.

Can you help me find a new timewaster? I'm looking for a fun, addictive match 3 game, like Candy Crush or Bejeweled, but please no spammy social game stuff or near-impossible levels that encourage to you buy cheats (see: Candy Crush). For iPhone.

I'll be on three flights in the next 11 days, and although I'd like to sleep through every flight, I doubt that'll happen. I have an iPhone 4 and a 3rd-gen iPod Touch at my disposal, so I'd like to throw some new, non-battery-killing games on them before I go.

Friends & I enjoy playing words-with-friends because it's a) asynchronous/turn-based, so we can play throughout the day without having to find times we're both free; and b) cross-platform, for android & iphone. What other games that fit those two categories should we try?

My three-year-old daughter loves to play with dad's iPhone, but he's starting to miss it. Is there some kind of hand-held device that has games and such that might entertain her? I hate to sound like such a noob/dork, but I don't know what's out there, so I don't know how to search. What would you get a three-year-old if you were trying to duplicate the experience of an iPhone without buying her an iPhone?

I'm looking for a very specific sort of game for the iPhone: one that (a) takes almost no conscious brain power and (b) doesn't interfere with my iTunes music. I want a game I can play while listening to iTunes.
