My graduate research has recently headed in a video-heavy direction, which makes the ol' poster presentation format somewhat challenging. I'd like to have a thin screen or tablet to hold — or better yet, mount — where I can easily play a number of videos. What's my best option?

We're using iPads for users to post videos directly to our Wordpress site through the official Wordpress app. The videos are being recorded on the iPads, and posted through the app's media upload feature. When we do this through the HTML4 options (which uses embed) there are no controls to start the video playing. When we do this through HTML5 the videos are rotated 90 degrees. Any ideas what's causing this video weirdness and how to fix it?

I'm looking for an app to play video/audio that is stored on my Mac desktop to my ipad, while on my apartment's wireless network. I do not need to access these files from the outside world, but I do need to be able to run the files without being in front of my desktop. I'm looking for something besides using the iTunes sync function to load the video onto the iPad. Recommendations?

VideoFX Live doesn't do the job because it only allows shooting new videos, not edit existing.
