When syncing my iPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro, every time I connect it it tries to load about 5 games from my apps collection from the Macbook to the phone. It's always the same games, and this is a new problem within the past month or so. I haven't updated the OS or anything else -- is there some "autosync" option with certain games that I need to turn off? It's a pain to have to delete them every other day.
Looking for more iOS game recommendations according to specific requirements. "Games that are more like toys" might be one place to put it. Update on this question. [more inside]
I am looking for games for iOS that are played 2-player at the same time, with the phone flat on a table, one person on each side playing against each other. I don't know what to call this so it's hard to search for more (I think of them like 80's arcade cocktail machines). So far the only ones I've found are OLO (a hybrid of shuffleboard and air hockey), TEN (same company, it's like mega tic-tac-toe) and some checkers/chess games. Are there others? What is this style of game design called?
Lately I've found it difficult to find anything new to play on my iPhone (have an iPhone 5 and an iPad, but typically use my iPhone for this sort of thing). I've been playing the same old games for a while now and need some new ones. [more inside]
I'm looking for well-designed puzzle and strategy games for my iPhone 5S. [more inside]
Looking for an iOS app that will let me set up a table (of dice scores and results), then roll on that table by pushing a button. For example, I might set up a table 'FOO': 1-2 = A, 3-4 = B, 5-6 = C. I could then push the FOO button, and it'd roll a d6 and give me A, B or C. Does this sort of thing exist?
I'm on Android (Samsung S4 Zoom) and my partner is on IoS (iPhone 4) - what are the best turn based/collaborative common platform games we can play together on and off during the working day? We both like word play, puzzles, general knowledge and detective mysteries, but would be amenable to considering anything that would get the old grey matter working. Hit us up with your best timewasting suggestions, venerable mefites!
I want to find an adventure game that's easy to become obsessed with and has tons to discover and explore. [more inside]
I ran out of games to amuse me on my commute. Can you help me find some iOS games according to my special snowflake requirements for my iPod touch? I'm looking for games I can play holding the iPod in one hand in portrait mode, no internet required, and that won't be disrupted by a bumpy bus ride. Thanks!! [more inside]
Need some iPhone games that are as engrossing as Civilization, SimCity, and Age of Empires. (Yes, I already have Civilization Revolution and SimCity DLX.) [more inside]
I'm looking for some light, fairly simple iPhone puzzle-type games, for a 4th-generation iPod Touch running iOS 5.1. [more inside]
I want some immersive, RPG-style games for Android or iOS. I'm taking a long flight on Friday and I want to sink myself into something fun. I was really hoping Baldur's Gate would be out for iPad before my flight, but it looks like it's been pushed back to next week. I'd like something in the same vein. Preferably something without cutesy, cartoony or 8-bit style graphics.
Are there any diet/exercise mobile apps or websites that truly embrace gamification - turning daily logging of activity and food, or fitness/diet challenges, etc., into the kind of fun, immersive game that you'd play anyway even if it weren't beneficial? [more inside]
I'm in the front passenger seat with my iPhone. My six year old son is in the back seat with an iPad. What turn-based games can we play, each using our own device. The iPad does not have an Internet connection. [more inside]
