In May we will be taking a family trip out east by car. We plan to stop for lunch somewhere east of Indianapolis, and then for a play/running-around time somewhere between Columbus, Ohio, and Wheeling, West Virginia, on I-70. Where? (Also, where should we spend the night?) [more inside]
I'm driving from northern New Jersey to Ann Arbor, MI tomorrow via I-80, and returning to DC on Sunday via 76/70/270. What can I do to make these journeys less boring? [more inside]
Road trip info needed. The long bit across Kansas to Colorado, anything I should be particularly aware of except for the anticipated total boredom part? [more inside]
I'm traveling by car to Tracy, CA from Oklahoma City in mid-October. I usually take I-40, but this time I'm going to try I-70, I-15 to Cedar City, then state roads to Tracy. I intend to see Bryce Canyon. Any additional great outdoor places or interesting sites that I could include in the trip? 100 miles detours are not a deterrent and I like birdwatching.
There's a space-age looking building that you'll see on a cliff face on the left while driving West on I70 from the Denver airport. Anyone know the name or architect? It looks amazing enough to be famous.
