this article and I'm curious about this place. A little searching brings up proposed sites elsewhere but I am wondering if any exist, specifically in the North East. Has anyone ever heard of such a place?

What was that music webapp I had on my iPod? Help me remember the site I had saved to my homescreen a while ago. I'm fairly sure it was a webapp and not a proper app. I seem to remember the name for the icon was shortened to a two-letter acronym; I thought it was DI for digitalinspiration.com but googling that shows I was wrong. I'll try to describe it anyway: the app had a series of square, colourful icons down the left-hand side, not unlike the style to the iTunes gift card drawings. Each icon represented a category; I definately remember 'lounge', and the others were mostly dance/electronic music related genres like house, groove etc. probably hip-hop stuff too. Definately a cool and groovy site.

My friend needs advice on renting a house in San Diego. He has been there for years, but he wants to scale down from 5 total roommates (including him) to 3 total roommates, including him.
In order to scale down like this, he'll have to charge at least $1000 per roommate. Then each person will have tons of space.
He wants roommates that are very nice, honest, and super-clean.
Is this do-able? What can he do (he's in no position to make any major home improvements) to make it more likely that he'll find what he's looking for within a reasonable period of time?

I am thinking of getting a conservatory put on our house. It's a traditional UK terrace with a "wing" at the back containing the kitchen, bathroom above. About 6 ft wide. The yard to the side includes our back gate so we can't fill that with a conservatory. Our kitchen doors are on the back. I want to find plans that show how a conservatory can work, but googling just brings either conservatory companies (no plans) or estate agent sites (all terrace houses with a conservatory for sale).

Do you have a decent dog house for your dog?
Help me figure out what should be simple: getting a dog house. I'm overwhelmed by the choices and would appreciate actual brand recommendations. We need a dog house that will be somewhat insulated because the dog might need to use it for up to 6 hours in the wintry midwest. We cannot build one, and we can't spend more than a couple of hundred.
I have hesitated to get a dog house because the I was worried about it becoming a raccoon house, fox house, possum house. Do you use that door with the electronic collar entry to prevent this? Does that seem like a good idea?

A contractor is planning to come out this week and replace a substantial portion of my driveway. It (was and) will be a concrete driveway. The same contractor ('s father) will also be doing a substantial amount of tuckpointing. I live in Cleveland and as you know this is mid-November. Should I be concerned about the cold/snow/rain affecting the durability of their work? What should I expect them to do to adapt to the weather? Should I just try to get them to wait until Spring?
