wall-mounted kitchen "instant hot water dispenser"

I know it's a longshot, but I've seen miracles performed here before. Does anybody happen to know of an "instant hot water dispenser" (similar to the ones shown here), but are mounted to the backsplash above the sink instead of in the counter-top itself? I know that it would probably be possible to rig up something wall-mounted on my own using a standard counter-mounted version, but would rather pay for something ready to go out of the box. thank you.

Hot Wife Not Wanting to be a "Hot Wife"

Two years in to our marriage, my husband told me that he had developed a “hot wife” fetish. He was having sex dreams about me having sex with a stranger in front of him. I told him that if he had wanted that sort of thing that he had married the wrong kind of woman. He let it drop, but then began talking about it again after a couple of months. This started a cycle of interactions that has been going on for about five years now, and it is causing enormous strain on the marriage. [more inside]

What do I use to glue plastic that's safe for the inside of a hot car?

I have a bunch of Lego Minifigures in the back window of my car. I live in Los Angeles, and when my car gets too hot, the plastic in the Legos expands and everything starts coming apart. I want to glue each figure together so I'm not constantly having to reassemble them, but I don't want glue that would give off harmful fumes when in those hot car conditions. I've tried basic craft glue so far, but it doesn't seem to last very well in the heat. Any thoughts? Thanks!

How to get some HEAT in my Chinese food

I live in an extremely whitebread town, and nothing I have done has induced any of the Chinese restaurants to make my food in the least hot. I say "extra hot" or "extra spicy" or "with hot peppers" and the food seems exactly the same. They must have had people complain that what they ordered was "too hot." What can I say in Chinese to get the point across? How do you say the pepper paste stuff that is made out of pepper flakes and oil, and then lots of it?

Office wear for uber hot climate

I'm transferring from Scotland to Dubai for three months - probably June, July, August. As far as I can see, its going to be crazy hot (40C + ?) in the desert for these months - I've spent a couple of days in Dubai before but not in the height of summer - I'll be doing an office job and expect to be spending my time going from air conditioned apartment to air conditioned office but I'm keen to hear any practical tips in terms of office wear (I'm a suit-wearing bloke) and any other pointers for going to the Gulf (or anywhere similarly hot) and being productive in an office job in an uber-hot climate. Thanks!

Why do I have to put the hot chocolate in first?

a really good hot dog in Europe?

My SO's older son will be 17 in the fall. I want to give him something that will provide a nominal income for him as he won't be able to work due to the requirements of his college. Options I am considering are: a greeting card business with some other members of his family; helping to run a summer camp; performing songs about stuff on Spotify; and; having an interest in a hot dog stand. I think hot dog stand is probably the most available option, followed by greeting cards. Problem is sourcing high quality franks in England. Sweden? I would rather they be all-beef than pork, and there being a halal or kosher option.

Spring and Autumn: 2 weeks each. xkcd?

I am convinced - or I've convinced myself - that there was an xkcd diagram that showed winter as unbearably cold and long, summer as unbearably hot and long, and a very short burst of spring and autumn where temperatures were just right. Does this actually exist, or is it some other cartoon, or have I imagined something as real?

Is it possible to train oneself into tolerating spices?

I like mild to moderately spicy dishes (crispy chilli beef, jalfrezi, chilli-tomato pasta sauce), but anything hotter numbs my mouth to the point where I can't actually taste anything, or worse, unable to eat it. Even if I go to Nandos, I don't want to try anything hotter than the mild piri-piri, because I'm worried I won't enjoy my meal due to the heat. Can I 'train' myself into getting used to spices? And does a higher tolerance enable the flavours, rather than the heat, to come through?

Unsure about thus relationship cycle

I'm caught in a casual, hot and cold relationship with a person I fell in love with years ago. I can't tell anymore what is normal relationship behavior. I'm a female in my 20's, involved with a person in his 40's. We have similar sensibilities and get along great but then he goes cold. He always let's me decide if I want to stay or not. Everytime I leave, I end up coming back because I miss him and I'm greeted with enthusiasm. He's a sweetheart and never acted aggressively towards me which leaves me confused. 'Cause he'll go out of his way to help me with anything I need and once I get comfortable and thankful, he grows cold. He never saw us as "dating" even though we were plus the issues of him getting over an ex. I can be a bit of a people pleaser at times but I always abide by the rule of if you don't want to be with someone and they have strong feelings for you, you cease contact. He doesn't do this and I'm confused. I feel like a puppet. I don't know what's going on in his head. I don't even know if it's abusive or not. I have been in an abusive relationship and this doesn't mirror it so I'm having a tough time processing what's going on. Please help.

Is it safe to visit Bagby Hot Springs?

My girlfriend and I are going to Portland next week for the first time, and had been planning to take a day to drive out to the Bagby Hot Springs (she was thrilled when she found out they're the springs featured in Old Joy). My favorite kind of song: fast, swingy jazz with lyrics that are witty and/or intricately rhymed, performed by somebody who delivers the words and the music with equal skill.
