DNS with 1and1. Hosting with HostPC. Something weird happened with my hosting account on Friday. I received a spike in traffic that suspended my account. They got it working again, but only partially. Email is still out of service after a few days. They say they're working on it, but I don't know how hard, and I can't risk being without it for much longer, so I'm considering now just switching hosts instead of waiting for HostPC to fix the issue. What host can I switch to that will propagate the fastest and have my email up and working as quickly as possible? 1and1 because I'm also doing DNS with them, or am I better off with someone else? Thanks for any help. [more inside]

What are the steps involved in moving registered domains to another host? I'd like to move a number of domains from 1&1 to WebFaction so I can run Django apps easily. An extra wrinkle is that one of the domains needs to be assigned/given to another person who will do with it what they will. [more inside]

I want to setup a Windows 2003 server using my dynamic IP address that I have from Comcast. How can I make this happen? I have a linksys Gateway (WCG200) that has the server and a few other computers connected to it. I am trying to setup a small server for my printing/web hosting/file sharing/remote access needs. I need to see how to setup my DNS & DHCP settings for this to happen. Also I have my own domain name which I would like to use. Can I use programs from companies like no-ip.com to setup my web site so if anyone types my registered domain it will find my site? Remember that I will be using a dynamic address. Or the last straw is to get a static IP address. Where can I do so(for the cheapest price)?

Domain names are fun! My company has over 60 domain names with two main registars - Valueweb and Network Solutions. I would like to have all domains under one roof. Who would you transfer domains too and why? I find dealing with these companies very confusing.
