My wife and I are *finally* going to go on our honeymoon and we're aiming for mid-March. We live in Tokyo and we're thinking of going to New Zealand. Assuming we have a week (or perhaps shorter, like 5 full days), what could we do in NZ? How's the weather? North Island or South Island? Can we get around either island by train/bus easily or is renting a car a better idea? [more inside]
