Help me name this device.... Saw this at someones house. A small device that allows you to control a dvd player or stereo (any infrared device) while it's within a cabinet with the doors closed. A small box is stuck on the outside of it that apparently catches the signal and transfers it inside and resends it to control the components within. Does that make any sense?? Where can i find this thing? Thanks!

I just purchased a Mitsubishi WD-52525 DLP HDTV and the manual suggest that some problems might occur if a surge protector and AC line conditioner are not used. Any recommendations on satisfactory surge protectors and line conditioners (something in the mid-price range)? Also, could someone explain how a line conditioner works and why it is necessary?

In considering the home entertainment setup for the house I've just purchased, I'm looking for suggestions and advice on going wireless and streaming music from a PC to, well, everywhere. How best to do this? The main PC doing the work can be located anywhere, but I'd sure like some sort of control over what's playing in each of the main locations. Stereo in the living room, maybe some small speakers in the kitchen and upstairs... whatever. Your experience and product recommendations, please.
