I got lost on the internet and found a small business selling great-looking US map prints for under $30. I think they were CO-based, but I've lost the website!

I need inspiration for an impending South Florida master bathroom remodel. I like a shabby chic style, and I understand the principles, but desperately need specific images for a bathroom that totals 45 sq feet outside of the shower stall, and probably more like 30-35 sq feet once you subtract the water closet.

We're remodeling our kitchen and adjacent family room and we need help finding someone in the Rochester NY that can help us pick out and coordinate the colors of our walls, counter-tops, rugs and floors. I've been looking at the web sites of interior designers and decorators and I find them very intimating. It looks like they work on $$$$ projects and we have a modest house and a modest budget. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?

I'm working on redecorating my apartment. Now, I'm a sucker for Bombay Company/Pier 1/World Market goods, but I'm saving my pennies for more important things. What are some inexpensive, do-it-yourself ways to give my apartment that "worldly," tastefully-exotic look?

I have 3 indoor-only cats, a large floor to (almost) ceiling window, a need to cover said window for privacy and an aversion to vertical blinds (which seem to be the only solution but they're ugly, have no insulating properties and have gaps). The cats would definitely try to climb any cloth drape (I know, I know) and their hair hangs off the bottom of fabric like fringe.
