Remove musky smell from wood?

So we have an old tiny cabin (about 8x12 ft) that is a bit in disrepair. But the real problem isn't the drafty windows or creaky door, but rather that we apparently had mink or some other musky-smelling animal nesting underneath (the cabin is raised about a foot off the ground) for quite a while, and it has pervaded the whole cabin with a musky, urine-like smell. We're really hoping not to replace all the wood, which is old, sound, and worn in the best way. What's our best bet for removing this smell permanently? [more inside]

Did you see the pictures I did of a home with Asian design? Where!?

Have you seen (within the last decade) these pictures from a home design magazine? Traditional Asian (Japanese?) style - high ceilings with dark beams, large open spaces, tatami mats and paper screens, and very little else. [more inside]

Carpet common?

So I'd like to know if homes built in the USA in 1958 commonly had wood floors and it is possible this owner added the carpet later. If true we'd have hope that the wood below has possibility for restoration. [more inside]

wood on the set

We took down a large cedar this summer that was listing ominously toward our house. Thinking we might use the wood, we've left a large amount of it here in our yard. Time passes, and the wood is still there. Am I creating a problem long term? What should I do with the wood with the rainy season coming on. [more inside]

We have some wooden curtain poles on which the wooden rings move really smoothly, but also have a couple where the curtains "judder" and sometimes stick quite badly when pulling them open or closed. How can I get the non-compliant curtains to move smoothly?

DIY Bed

Hey, look at this awesome bed. I want one, but sadly they cost a million euros each. Approximately. So: the pdf brochure on the site basically has enough information to build the bed yourself - it's just a simple wood frame and a couple cushions. How much would it cost to have someone built that for me, and who would I ask? I live in LA, if it matters.
