Can you please offer insight into my projector system? I have questions with regards to projectors, screens, and installation.

Hi
I have a Panasonic VT30 65" plasma and I'm excited about the release of a video game next week. I'd like to celebrate by cashing in some amazon gift cards and adding better sound.
Challenges:
*My bedroom is small, so this stuff has to be low profile.
*I only want to spend a few hundred dollars. Let's say $300-800. I'll upgrade some future day.
I think a standalone receiver is not a sensible option but I'll consider it. Maybe a soundbar with sub is the way to go? If a soundbar really can simulate surround, that's great. If I have to go multispeakers they will have to be low profile.
Thanks for reading. People probably ask this all the time but my search results were pretty poor!

I'm trying to connect an LG 32" LCD TV and an MSI desktop PC using HDMI, and I'm running into a snag. The TV refuses to recognize the PC, and I'm not entirely sure why. Can anyone help me figure out how this is supposed to work?

I recently, finally, purchased an HDTV (a Samsung, from the 6000 LED series). I'm totally new to this, but as the sound is not great from the TV itself, I'm wondering what a good, not bank-breaking (but doesn't have to be bargain basement either) home theater set up is.

Please suggest a quality wireless (RF) keyboard that has an integrated touchpad, trackpoint or trackball for use with a home theater PC setup. There's a lot of different things available from Newegg ($35 to $150+) and the other usual sources, but I'm wondering about some first-hand experiences...

I bought the ATI Sapphire HD 3870 a couple of months ago. I was especially stoked about the HDMI out feature that would allow me to play audio from my DVD receiver (Samsung HTQ80T/XAA). Well it does that but, the resolution is blurry. Changing the display quality on the pc doesn't help. My PC is connected to the HDMI IN on the receiver and the HDMI OUT on the receiver is connected to my monitor. DVD's look fine but the PC looks horrid. Not sure if it's the Home theater, or the card. Any Ideas as to what I can do about this? thanks.

Looking to buy my first home theater system. Seems most systems come with a DVD/CD player. Thing is, I already have a Sony DVP-NS975P DVD player which I am more than happy with. The DVD player has HDMI output and I would also like to run my Xbox 360 (HDMI) through the receiver. Any recommendations in the sub-$1000 range?

About 5 months ago, we bought an awsome Sony home theater system. At the time, I was focusing on buying a system that would play fully loaded DVD's, and did no research concening audio CDs. Consequently, I've become aware of SACD Cds. Unfortunately, the DVD/CD player does not have that capability. Is the sound of SACD CDs worth upgrading my DVD/CD player?
