Scotland vacation: I have 4 days to kill between work events in London and Glasgow, and I'm considering walking part of the West Highland Way by myself. Is this a reasonable plan, or do you have a better suggestion of how to use this time (ie other long distance walks or other plans entirely)? [more inside]

JacketFilter: I live in the UK where it rains all the time, but I like to hike and bike so I'd like to upgrade my jacket to one with features that let one stay cool while active (such as breathable fabric and pit/core zips), but still has many pockets. [mi] [more inside]
