I live in a house with 7 or 8 other people and we share a wireless hub. I download a lot with bittorrent which was working out just fine until about 2 days ago when it suddenly stopped connecting at all. Am I being paranoid or could someone in my house be blocking off BT? Any other ideas?

I have an old unlocked 6710 Blackberry with 8meg RAM and a BES server 4.0. The Berry works as a cell phone, and I even get gprs in lowercase on the display, but it does not send and receive emails. Apparently it needs to belong to some service provider company (e.g. Cell phone company) and the PIN needs to be in their system for it to work. (OS version 3.6) Any ideas?
And - can I upgrade to handheld version 4.0?

Lately I have noticed a residual funky smell in my clothes after washing and drying. (Think used towels. Not hotel ones as they all smell like chlorine bleach). I do use fabric softener to no avail. Is ther a way to get rid of this smell in the clothing? Enzymatic detergent? The stuff to get rid of the smell pet urine? Anybody else have this problem and solved the issue?

Due to a relationship breakup, I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping, and it's wreaking havoc with my life. I just can't sleep, I toss and turn most of the night. I never feel rested. I've tried Tylenol PM, but it just doesn't seem to work most times. I don't really want to drink myself into a stupor. Any suggestions on how I can fall asleep?

Tonight, one of my housemates checked into a safehouse. Unbeknownst to anyone else in the house, he's been cutting himself, and he's suffering from heavy depression/suicidal thoughts, mostly due to school and being away from home.
What can I do to help out? Things to do when he gets home? What would be nice to bring him while he's getting help? For anyone who's been in this situation, what did you find especially helpful/uplifting?

I need help with attitude adjustment. I have trouble making compromises, it is usually all or nothing for me, especially when it is something important. As a result I often hurt the ones I love the most because of this flaw in me. I have tried to find ways to focus on what is more important, the love of the other person over having things my way. I know I cherish the love more, yet I can not seem to make compromises. How do I change this?

Rap lyrics often leave me quite baffled -- my English is clearly not good enough to get them 100%. Are there any good (online or dead-tree) resources to learn more American street/hip-hop slang? And what about websites offering translations of rap lyrics into plain English?

Has anyone ever had a significant other or loved one with agoraphobia? How did you come to understand their situation? How did you deal with it? Is there anything the one that isn't suffering from it in the relationship can do to make it easier? "It" could be either the relationship or the agoraphobia itself.

I have been asked to develop in-program help and demos for an IT company (working in the Health Industry, backend stuff).
a) For the help system, what's the best approach? I know there's windows help format, html help and other (more) proprietary stuff, but have no experience with any of them (I have plenty of experience with HTML, CSS and Flash). What help format / application would you choose? Portability and easy updating are pluses. End users will be mostly on Windows.
b) For the demos I'm thinking RoboDemo, but wonder if there's anything easier, or opensource, or some other reason to choose it instead of R.D?

YahooMail problems. I signed up for the 2gb yahoomail account, but very often it treats me as if I am still a regular free user and shows me I am 600% over the limit. During that time, all email sent to me gets bounced back to the sender. I've tried to find a yahoo status page (like
this one for ebay) to see what is up. Is anyone having these problems? Is there a Yahoo Status page?
