I think it would be AWESOME to have some chewy, honey or other naturally sweetened candy, which are not all that sweet, just to help us with oral fixations. I personally don't smoke but am needing to begin a very long progress of eating in moderation, and I tend to eat sweets when I'm bored. [more inside]
So I can actually cook, and pretty well. It's the rest of the logistics of getting food on the table (meal planning, figuring out how to make balanced meals, even grocery shopping) that I struggle with. I need help learning to feed myself better than the frozen foods aisle can! [more inside]
I need some recommendations on how to eat healthy for the people that genuinely do not like to or have any interest in cooking. I work a lot and I have no interest spending the free time that I do have cooking. I eat out almost every meal and the meals that I do eat at home are usually microwave meals. When you eat out a lot, it can be difficult to find quick healthy options. I am trying to lose a few lbs and probably could stand to eat a little healthier. I am hoping to get some recommendations on how to eat healthy without the usual 'just cook it, it only takes X minutes' or 'its really easy' comments. Not only am I cooking-adverse, the grocery store may be one of my least favorite places. Has anyone tried one of those companies that gives you a weeks worth of food at a time (do you have to cook the food?)? If it is helpful, I am a single guy in my early-thirties living in Georgia. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
FoodFilter: My boyfriend likes junk food. The exception being sushi. Otherwise it's all meat, cheese, chips, pizza, and soda. We may be living together at some point in the future as this is getting serious, but this is an issue for me. I've worked hard to get on a healthy diet and I do not keep ANY junk in my house. Sometimes tortilla chips and salsa. I eat mostly paleo, but do have cheese. [more inside]

I have 25lbs of thawed chicken breast. I do not have a grill, but a full kitchen. What are the best ways to pre cook and store chicken for later use. I have a freezer chest for storing cooked chicken. My goal is to have prepped chicken that I can use on week nights to create quick easy meals OR to create healthy lunches. Any ideas about how to create meals with prepped chicken are a bonus.
Resolution time! I grew up eating junk food. Lots of it. My fruit/veggie intake is minimal to non-existent. Though my BMI is in the healthy range, I know I can't possibly be healthy with decades of this diet. Where do I even start to relearn how to eat? [more inside]
This week we'll be embarking on a complicated task at work that will take about two days. The last time we did a couple of us brought junk food snacks, but two of the women in our group are perpetually dieting and spent the day looking longingly at the food, and then seeming very regretful when they eventually ate it. That makes me sad. I'd like to bring some food that they wouldn't feel bad about eating. [more inside]
I'm going into my senior year college and have relied on a fraternity meal plan and eating out often. What should I be buying at the grocery store regularly, and what are some quick and healthy meals to make regularly? [more inside]
This year I made a resolution for healthier living and have been successful so far. Overcame a lot of bad habits compared to where I started. But I'm going on a cruise with a group of friends next month. From what I've been told it's going to be an around the clock buffet. I'm planning on using the gym but don't know how to deal with all of the food. I'm not going to be on the alcoholic drinks package and figure I can enjoy dinner that way. Breakfast and lunch are a free for all though. Any ideas for what my best options would be so I don't gain 15 by the end of the week.
Inspired by this post, I'm working on my own "go-to" salad that I'll always be able to make. The criteria are: "fresh ingredients you can get in most stores, which you will never tire of, and can eat twice a week for the rest of your life." Do you have a "go-to" salad or something similar? - I'm looking for inspiration here so the more unusual/personal the better!
My two year old likes to snack and enjoys trying new foods. What are some healthy, nutritious snacks that I can keep in my bag for when she needs something to eat? I'm looking for stuff that I can make myself or buy off the shelf. Ideally, I would like things that don't cost too much money, but I'm willing to try anything. [more inside]

Mrs. Thabombshelter and I have a four month old son and would love to eat more meals that aren't takeout. Plus, with a baby, money is obviously a valuable and precious commodity. Easy prep and inexpensive ingredients are a priority. So please, help us with some suggestions for easy-ish, healthy-ish, cheap-ish meals that can help us avoid Papa Johns or Chinese takeout. I have a bunch of peanut butter that I need to use up, but I'm running out of ideas. I would particularly appreciate recipe ideas that I can use in meals, though all I can ever really think of is perhaps Thai-style chicken/noodles, or PB&J sandwiches, or fruit with peanut butter dip. I know there's also stuff like peanut butter cookies and other baking goodies, but I'm trying to avoid sugar-bombing my diet too badly. Please help me with ideas!

I'm trying to figure out the healthiest carryout/delivery meals I can get for under $25. The catch is that I don't like salads very much, and prefer my vegetables to be chopped finely/covered in sauce/combined with other things. (See my username) I'm in Boston, but I'm also open to general suggestions of what sort of restaurants/items are more likely to be healthy options. [more inside]
