YANMD, etc: I started Bactrim yesterday for a MRSA-esque skin infection. I'm experiencing side effects that don't exactly bother me (persistent headache), but the prescription info sheet warns that I should be contacting my doctor ASAP. I'll be doing that tomorrow morning, but should I skip my dose tonight? Other deets within.

My fiance poked at a squishy bump in his forehead about two days ago; it squished and sort of dispersed, he said, and now his head has hurt really bad ever since. What could this have been, and do we need to be concerned now?

The left side of my head hurts. It feels like a headache when I nod my head or have jerky vertical movements. It's been feeling like this for a few months. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm a singer, so I sing with my whole body which includes my head. So, is there a doctor in the house?

I need to pay for my new house and anticipated Reno's. Canada's lending laws put a limit on the minimum down payment I need without penalty,
and the minimum I can take from my retirement savings without penalty. The two limits don't mesh for me! Help me decide the best way to patch together the money.

Dear MeFites, please help me find a way to live without these constant headaches. I have had chronic daily headaches, and at least 2-3 migraines a month, for the past ten years. I have tried everything I can think of short of surgery but nothing besides taking painkillers seems to help (and those only a little these days).
