One of my two HD direcTv receivers routinely loses its satellite signal and will spend countless hours 'searching for signal' while my other receiver works just fine. What's up? [more inside]

Anyone in Seattle who understands QAM television tuners? I get HD with my Panasonic for free on basic cable (the ones that are unencrypted). I've been very happy. But why has channel 9's HD channel (called 9.5) disappeared? How can I now punch in the numbers on my remote and get it? The website AV Forum has had trouble with passwords, and it's hard to navigate anyway, so I can't get in there.

I just bought a new graphics card. The only thing I need it to do is to output my computer display to a television. To this effect, the card has three output options: (1) RCA, (2) S-video, (3) HD (red, blue and green cord). The first two options work great. The third, which is the one I'm really jonesing for, doesn't. What appears on the TV through the HD-out is all wonky and strange -- I can sort of make out stuff, but just barely. Any ideas as to how to get this up and running? I'm on XP (Home Edition), and here is the TV I'm using.

I'm going to be getting a new tv soon, and I'm having trouble making a
decision. I can get the last generation Samsung 50" DLP (HLN5065W) for
$3 500 CND (about $2 600 USD) or the new model, the HLP5063W for $5 000
CDN (about $3 465 USD). Do you know anything about these T.V.'s? Which
would you recommend? I'm having a hard time finding reviews for the
newer model, I'm not sure it's out yet. Anyway, any help would be
appreciated.
