Is Halloween the only time it's ok for straight guys to wear nail polish (either on hands or feet)? And even then, only black, is it? [more inside]

Why is it so important that I wash my hands "thoroughly" after applying my foot cream (instructions/ingredients)? Texture and thickness aside, isn't skin, well, skin?

IckyBodilyFunctionFilter: When I don't wear socks, my hands sweat much more. Why is that?
(I wear socks 95% of the time, but today I've just got sandals on and my hands are clammy and gross as I type this.)
