I need a wireless mini-computer that can connect to AOL instant messenger, play MP3s, surf the web, and word process (removable keyboard is fine). Hopefully something with a windows operating system (windows CE?). I know nothing about pocket PCs or palm pilots or anything smaller than a full fledged laptop, anyone help me out? [more inside]

In a previous AskMe post, I solicited advice on switching to a Palm handheld from a laptop. As a graduate student, I couldn't afford more. I received some great advice with regard to applications and wireless keyboards, but now I'm looking to upgrade. The lack of wireless connectivity is something I really miss. I'm considering the Tungsten T5 and a wireless card, but have read mixed reviews. Would I be better off shopping for a used Sony UX 50? Some other model? [more inside]

The Poor Man's Laptop: As I've parted ways with my previous employer, I've had to relinquish my beautiful, 15 inch aluminum PowerBook. I can't afford a new machine, but have a need for some basic word processing and note taking capabilities. So I've picked up a Palm Tungsten E and a wireless keyboard. It works great, but I could use some recommendations for useful software. My main computer is a desktop G4 running OS X 10.3.5. [MI]

About to get a new Palm, and I'm wondering about Secure Digital (SD) cards. Now, word on the street is that different cards perform at different speeds, and that SanDisk is the slowest of them. Those of you who use SD cards with your handhelds and cameras, what brands and capacities have worked best for you? (As of now, I have my eye on a Lexar 256MB, maybe a 512MB.)
